Today on of the children brought in a spider they had made at home! So everyone in the class wanted to make their own spider, we walked around the school grounds to find sticks and then using sting we made a fishing rod style handle to allow our spiders to dangle and then using a stencil of a spider everyone had a go at making a spider.
We worked in groups to remember and make story maps of the little red hen.
