Fine motor skills were the focus this morning - and the children had worksheets with dotted lines to try and follow.
Phonics - no new sound today - we checked that we could all remember m and a
The children have made me giggle this week as at school we like to repeat stories so that the children become fluent in them and can act them out... Some of the class thought it was funny that we were talking through the story of a Noisy House again! - So far, they have listened to the story, they have talked through and created a story map of the story, they have talked and acted out the story and today they are miming the story! -- We have so many lovely chickens, monkeys and lions!
English table jobs - the children had a really good try at writing their m and a in their books and practiced their proper school pencil grips
In maths the children learnt about what a pair was and they had a go at finding pairs of fish to stick together for their book.
After lunch the children enjoyed Music with Mrs Cooper!
